Public water break

Water breaking in public or at work. I have social anxiety so I guess that's where my scare mostly comes from. Just curious to hear some stories about if it happened to you (howd people react/what did you do) or are you also nervous about this happening? I feel like everyday I'm scared to go out incase it happens.

I had contractions for almost 24 hours before mine broke. I got up off the couch the same time a contraction started and thought I peed myself a little (not uncommon for me at that point) but it stopped. No slow leak, nothing. I didn't even know that was it until I got to the hospital and they told me it was broken. My baby's head plugged the hole so no more water came out

Mine broke at home few hours later after we had sex but I was asleep but I suddenly got uo as I had a very strong feeling it was going to happen and ran to the bath tub and it was alooooot of water all at once it made my clothes  wet  lol.lucky I didn't spoil my mattress ...and it kept happening for 48 hours but pain weren't strong I had my son 72 hours later after induction

I've heard 9 out of 10 women's waters will break during or close to the end of labour... Only a few have their waters break unexpectedly before labour... Although the movies make it seem like everybody's waters break at a restaurant!

I was walking to the store with my friend to get tums had heart burn really bad before I left the house I had to pee but I thought it won't take long I'll pee when I get back lol was I wrong after I got the tums we were walking back and it felt like I was peeing on myself but I could not stop it my I told my friend I think my water broke she started to cry so I started to cry she yells at me does it hurt I say no and she said then why you crying and I said because your crying I was scared and it was my first child and I had jeans on

My water broke with my son. It was a slow process, it's not like it is in the movies where everything comes gushing out immediately. It was just little trickles at first (thought I was having some incontinence, ha) so if it does break in public you will definitely have a window of time to get to your car, office, or somewhere private! It eventually comes pouring on out, but I would say it took 15 min or so before that happened.

Honestly i was so scared with my first two that it would break in public that i wore a huge pad for the last 2 weeks before my due date! Lol...turned out it broke at home with both so i got lucky. Im pregnant with number 3 and got my pads ready to go! Lol at least i wont leak everywhere. :)

I'm scared as well where its gonna break who I'm gonna be with can they help me without going crazy
