Not a question

Just some words of encouragement. I know that every pregnancy is different, and so is every mommy and baby.  I just wanted to share with the mommies whose babies are breech or transverse my changes.

My baby had been head down at most of my ultrasounds and up to week 34. At week 35 he was head up and now I'm in my 36th week and baby is now transverse. My tech and doctor said he looks as if he is trying to move back to the head down position, but I'm not worried I just love that he is moving around. Our baby's are moving and doing they're own thing inside of us. Baby's health and our own is the most important at the end of our pregnancy most of us just want a healthy baby and to be ok ourselves.

I could say no worries, but we all worry at one point or another. No matter how you may have to deliver, just remember that you are still giving a birth and that you will be a mommy no matter how baby has to come out.

Love that you posted this! I planned an all natural birth no epidural or pitocin but my baby girl was breech and my dr started talking about doing a csection at 39 weeks if she didn't flip by then. i was terrified and heartbroken my family had to remind me daily that id be getting a beautiful baby girl regardless of how she entered the world. So at my final appointnent i was 38 weeks 6 days 3cm dialted with regular contraction and she was still breech so i had a csection that day and met my beautiful baby girl!

I'm almost 37wks & little one has been moving between breech & transverse whole pregnancy, though haven't had the ultrasound to confirm yet. Docs will want to schedule c-section I'm still hopeful she'll turn in time though. I don't mind the cs, as you all say, I'll do whatever is safest for her, just really don't want to spend days in hospital - want to get home & settled ASAP. Trying moxa tmw.

Very well said! I was so stressed because my little girl was transverse. Then I realized she has to come out one way or another, and there is no right or wrong way to give birth.

I agree 100%!! At 32 weeks my doctor informed me that baby was franks breech. It was folded at the waist with head and feet up just under my ribs. C-section was brought up to see what we thought about it. Husband was very stressed at first but we both knew that we will do whatever it takes to have baby with us safe and healthy. We talked about it and both were ok with me having a c-section. We knew baby still had time to flip. Some ladies told me try this to flip baby or try that. I said my doctor said there is nothing you can do. At my doctor visit at 35 1/2 weeks my ob/gyn did a quick ultrasound and baby had flipped!!! Baby is now head down and I'm feeling so much movement again! I'm 37+3 and so excited to meet our baby!!
