Question by dad

Hello, this is my first time in here. Three years ago my wife had certain symptoms, and this time she has different symptoms. She is only on week six but she's worried over having cramps. She knows cramps are common but she's worried because she didn't have any for our first. Is it normal to have cramps even though she didn't with our first

Everything is fine it's just growing pains. Her uterus is spreading to make more room for the baby.

I had no cramps with 1st kid but I experienced cramps with 2nd kid during first trimester. I was still breastfeeding so I think that might have been the cause. I stopped breastfeeding and now I experienced cramping 2-3 times when i went to do lot of activities with my toddler. Im trying to slow down

Cramps are normal, but if bleeding occurs along with cramps she needs to be seen by her doctor. I've also heard that spotting is fine too, but not with cramping.

This is my second viable pregnancy. I have a lot of friends also in their second. All of us have found it completely different from our firsts. Including cramping and a lot more nausea. If you guys are worried though, it never hurts to get checked out for peace of mind :)
Congrats!!

This forum has helped me through some really stressful times. Np. What was odd was that it seemed like these cramps were stronger at the time I would normally have my cycle.
