Questions about Register for the Shower

This is my first. My mom basically planning the shower she is ol school and feels I need to know nothing. Most of fam n friends are buying what they like and im cool with that. My question is do I even need to register I was gonna just choose 2 stores but im not a picky person on what ppl should buy I know ima have everything I need anyway.  So I really dont wanna suggest anything in particular for ppl to buy.

People don't really use the registry; they usually buy what they want. I did register at Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby and Target to get the coupons. My cousin still gets coupons after her registry and her baby is 14 months. I think out of my 3 registeres I got 4 gifts total off of them! So, maybe register at one place but don't get your hopes up on getting the items you pick.

We registered and literally no one used my registry. Waste of time on our part lol. We still got a lot of good stuff though so I'm not complaining!

Registry is for people that don't know what to get you. If everyone knows then don't bother. If anyone asks where you are registered consider it

I would register becausewhen you dont ppl tend to buy a lot of baby clothes or you will get multiples of the same item.

I would still register, I registered for babies r us for my shower and I did buy buy baby also but didnt give that info out. I only did it because they will both send you a 10-15% total purchase coupon. I used it to buy stuff I didnt receive.

If you're not picky I wouldn't bother registering, unless you want to try to prevent getting the same gift from multiple people.
