Unfortunately I have a stand in shower :/ but I did try to take a warm shower. I'm drinking tea too. I'm drinking lots of water ad well. I was told they should have given me something to stop the contractions, but I really don't want to go back to the er. My Dr is never there and the hospital isn't very helpful to what I try to explain
Have you tried the warm bath? Chamomile tea helps calm bh too.
I've been drinking water like crazy but its been making me throw up. The pain hasn't stopped at all. I've been trying to see my Dr, but she never comes and that's why the nurse keeps sending me home. I really just want to see a Dr.. Would it be wrong of me to ask to switch Dr's this late?
its sounds like braxton hicks to me! iv been getting them aswell. but proper contractions dont stop!
Hmmm that is a bit early. But if the nuse thinks you are okay just wait it out & if they start getting stronger or more painful call her again.
I had 23 hours of everything you described one day last week and at the end of it all I expelled enough mucus plug to fill a square of toilet paper, but ut wasn't bloody & my water didn't break so my midwife wasn't concerned. Then a few days later I had about 12 hours of intense Braxton Hicks with the abdominal cramping, back pain etc... it actually woke me up & i paced the house for quite a while... but same thing it eventually subsided.
Both times chugging some water and taking a warm shower finally calmed things down.
im 37+
perhaps try drinking a big glass of water and taking a warm bath?
I called my Dr but she never came in. A nurse just told me to go home and continue with work and normal activity. I feel a lot of pain, more then normal. I just don't want to go back to the hospital, and have them ignore what I have to say and be sent home without any help or advice
It sounds like BH contractions. I have been having the same thing, but I'm 38weeks. It has been going on for a little over a week. I fine staying hydrated and kicking up my feet help a bit. Being that ur only 33weeks Im surprised they wouldn't want to try to stop the contractions. I would call ur doc.
