Real contractions that just.... stop?!

So we all know braxton hicks... tightening,dull, in the belly... dont get worse.. etc etc...

Well I had really low, almost like period cramps ....they HURT my back,lower belly and thighs! Got a few every 10 mins for a while! Then....nothing. They stop! Why?!
Somewhere, someone is having a blast watching me squirm! Lol

Anyone else ever have this?!

the cramps your talking about could be labor! i went into actual labor Saturday had my c section at 9 am, i had to be put to sleep for this one. but he is here! weighs 9.04

Oh definitely try! Nothing wrong with it at all. I just meant to try to take a moment to yourself if possible to relax and decompress. That could possible help your body to do what it needs to do to get your little man out.

Got ya. I'm sure if u had a successful vbac last time even though this one is measuring big you'll do it again. I really wish I could try natural on this one but my Dr said no unless I walk in and the baby is virtually falling out of me lol. And I'm step b+ with this one so I'd never chance staying at home too long in labor.

I dont have a scheduled one. Ive requested 2nd vbac. I had a successful one last time around. I just hope this one cooperates.

I've been watching for your posts because I too am having my 3rd..a boy like u and have a boy and girl already.I'm scheduled to have a section on apr 3rd but I have this dream that he'll just pop out on his own and I won't have to go through that dreaded surgery.  I go for another ultrasound tomorrow though because they think his growth may becoming restricted because he's in the 13th percentile for size at just about 5lbs. If that's the case he'll be evicted sooner. when is your scheduled section again?

While I appreciate the wisdom and Im willing to accept it might not happen naturally, I HAVE TO TRY! I have had tons of ultrasounds seeing how he measures so big and not once have we seen a cord around the neck. I might be having another this week. Ill be sure to check again.
I have had a c section. It blew. Big time. I have 2 kids now and my husband can only take a week at most off. How am I supposed to move around my 3 level home,with 2 kids. Unable to drive for 8 weeks. On pain meds. I drive a school bus! Its just not something I can really let happen without trying to fight it!
Im not just being impatient. I am trying to work this stessful situation out the best for my family.

I know easier said than done but try to relax and not think about it. Take a warm bubble bath (while DH watches the other kiddos).
I went in for induction on 3-11. After 5 hrs, I had only progressed 1/2 cm. They tried the cervical bulb to dilate me. It worked but then she would not come down more than a -2.  After my water broke, her heart rate started dropping into the 60's. After an emergency c-section, we found out that she had the cord wrapped pretty tightly around her neck. If she had come down more, it more than likely would have suffocated my little angel. I only tell you this because I want you to know there may be a good reason why your body won't go on it's own.
I'm very grateful that my body protected my daughter. It's like it just knew.

I've had contractions for six days now, SUPER SLOW progress, I've only gotten .75 centimeters out of it. No broken waters. I'm supposing that my mucus plug is already gone and I just didn't notice it (I'm at 2.75 cm and I don't know if the plug would still be in at that size).
Too much stress/anxiety definitely holds up/stops contractions. I haven't even timed mine since Tuesday because I know all it would do is make me angry that they're not dilating my cervix faster even though they're really painful. Apparently some moms just refuse to time their contractions because it stresses them out.

Mine did the same thing. They were painful so I toldmy hubby that I wanted to go to l&d. I didnt tell him that they were stopping/slowing down.  Even on the ride there they werent bad at all, but when I got there I had her within 2 hours. I was just excited that they admitted me. might sound silly but my nurse buddy told me that being in a scrubbing floor position with the movements work, I thought he was joking but he swears by it, of course I will not try I'm only 31 weeksoso give it a whirl for all of usoso when our time comes we can have hope lol good luck keep us posted.

Maybe it is a slow labor. Happened my last 2 pregnancy I kept getting contractions that would just stop and then start again.  With my 1st one it started around 20 weeks and I would be dilated a little more every time i went to l&d but they kept giving me shots to stop it until i was 36 weeks then nothing until my water broke on D day. With 2nd I had them come and go for a week before ignored them thinking maybe just BH went to appt was 5cm and even then they stayed stop and go until I got induced. Been feeling same thing all weekend again stop and go and I really don't know what to think just waiting for appt Tuesday and hoping this time they are only BH. Hopefully your body will make up its mind and your beautiful baby will decide to come. Good Luck!

Hope the mud truck brings you some good labor luck lol. Got my fingers crossed for ya! Love reading your posts I don't feel so crazy when I read em lol cause at least there's one other person out there who seems to be in a similar situation. I too have two kids (Ages 1 and 2) and am praying this baby get her but in gear cause its getting tough to get stuff done and take care of the little ones with this little monster inside. My husband has been a saint but he works a lot so...anyway best of luck sending labor juju your way :)
