foley catheter is in!

It wasn't as bad as my first or my second one that's for sure. I'm a bit crampy but besides that feeling OK. Just got back home. Thinking in going to eat watch a movie and head to bed.  Induction is booked for tomorrow but they said they haven't even called anyone in from today's booked inductions because they were so busy so chances are I won't even get in tomorrow :(

Where do you live? But you are dilated to a 3? Or no dilation either? Last time I was checked, I wasn't dilated, and the doctor said my cervix was high. I'm booked to go in a week from tomorrow. I go in for a doctor appointment on Monday, I have been having tons of braxton hicks, so I'm hoping I'll be dilated some this time around.

No I'm at home. Waiting to be called for induction. I'm booked for today but they said they are really behind and haven't even gotten around to booked inductions from yesterday. I'm good. Feeling normal. Don't think I'm in labor yet lol

Are you at the hospital getting induce? How are you feeling? How are you progressing?

Yes it falls out once you dilate to 3cm. Mine fell out around 10am. I got it yesterday around 545.

So it didn't help you dilate? I think she plans on putting something else in there for me because she has me coming in at 8:30pm Sunday night and she said that she will start the induction then and then come back in the morning to start the pitocin, I guess. I have an appointment on Monday, so I will be asking a lot of questions. How is it going for you so far?

Yep. I was only 1 cm on Wednesday so had to go Friday for the catheter. It's inflated with saline and helps you dilate with no meds. If you are 2-3 cm they can go ahead and just break your water... Thats what they were hoping for with me but nope lol.

What is the Foley catheter? Is that the Ballon thing the doctor puts in to help your cervix dilate? I'm getting induce in 7 days, but it looks like I will be staying at the hospital, the doctor has me coming in at 8:30pm to start the induction, not sure what she is planing on starting me with.
