Regarding ultrasound
This is my 10th week. And have completed my 2 consultations wid d gynac. Just wanted to know whether every time u visit your gynac do they do ultrasound every time u visit. As in my case during my 2 consultations both the time they did an ultrasound. Is it safe?
Not sure where you are from.. but monthly visits until you get a certain amount of wks then it changes to bi-weekly and to weekly at 36 wks
Depends on your doc and your insurance and where you live. I think 3 to 4 ultrasounds is average in the USA. One to confirm pregnancy after 7 weeks. One around 12 weeks. Anatomy scan at 20 weeks. Follow up if baby was shy on the anatomy scan. Then others if necessary but not routinely.
