Reveal Party

Am wanting to do something since people are against revealing at shower. Any one do a reveal party? Any ideas would b welcome.

I did it I had everyone wear pink or blue depending on their guess.... me and my husband found out bc we wanted to find out just the two of us... I had a diaper raffle.... I raffled off different gift baskets.... I gave 5 tickets for a bag of diapers ten tickets for a box of diapers it was fun. .. and I made cake pops with only two of them the color of the baskets a gaby which were pink so everyone got one and two people got pink ones everyone was excited and the people who were pink got an extra tixket.... and we played the Gerber game that u fill different little cups with different flavor Gerber and people try to figure out the flavor and I did the diaper and chocolate game and whoever won got a prize and tickets too I raffled like ten different gift baskets... not expensive one was three bags of hot cheetos with a bag of lemon and nacho cheese... another was a basket full of candy... one of them was just random stuff I had extra of at my house cus I used to coupon so I had shampoo and conditioner with toothpaste and razors lol it was fun I had everything decorated pink or blue and had my party be potluck too and if ppl brought a dish I would give them five tickets. .. I had a ton of food to choose from I provided hot dog and sandwhiches and the drinks and cake and cupcakes and candy and nachos and chips and pop corn... and people brought cheesecake monkey bread jello beer salad spinach dip ect we had tons of left overs lol it was fun

My friend just had a reveal/baby shower. She did everything blue and pink and had an old wives tales board and name suggestion jar. It was so cute. Yes everything she got was gender neutral but she didn't care. It was so cute. She found out she's having a boy.


I did a reveal but I found out the sex with my bf at the doctors then had a BBQ with our closest family and friends to reveal I to them. We had everyone vote when they showed up and then at the end we revealed it by having our 5 year old open a box of balloons. Then it was a boy! Then everyone who voted boy got put in a raffle for a gift card it was fun

How about play some gender games let people take guesses and have them pull a ticket for a chance to when a prize like a movie night package for the winner. Have tons of pink and blue appetizers. All you need is food coloring. Then bring out a plain white frosted cake and when you cut inside the color pink or blue will reveal the babiesv sex

I plan on doing it in our Christmas card this year. I'll find out around my birthday. (Nov 25th) which works out perfect. Good luck.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and we decided to have our two boys reveal to our family.  We had a family party and the boys opened and wrapped box filled with balloons. Everyone wore a shirt that they thought the gender would be.  We asked our local store to fill the balloons in the back and then we wrapped the box in yellow wrapping paper. It was a lot of fun and great memories were made by our other two children.  :)

I had one two weeks ago and it was so fun. The doctor wrote the sex in an envelope and I chose my best friend to open it and bake a cake with either blue or pink inside. All of our food and decorations were pink and blue. We had a candy bar with little bags so guests could pack one for their favor. I am so glad I did it because it was all on camera and video so I'll have that memory forever. It also allowed booth our families to get more acquainted before the shower
