Early pregnancy sex

Is it OK to have sex in early pregnancy?  I'm so worried about miscarriage since I've lost a baby in the past (due to pneumonia and viral infection, not sex).  But the jostling from sex can't possibly cause any problems, can it?  I'm 6w1d, and I'm paranoid.

My doctor said that to be safe, no sex until after the viability ultrasound to make sure I am not high risk again. I don't know who is going more crazy going without sex... Me or my husband!  But the last thing we want is any complications.  *sigh*

Doctors will have you refrain from sex if there are risk so just wait until you see your doctor and ask your doctor if all is ok to have sex.

Sex can't do any damage to the baby what so ever. And actually to get you to go into labor they advise to have sex at the end of your pregnancy. Go have fun!
