help plz. having pain in stomach.

Im 29 weeks, my belly has been rather hard today. But in several spots it hurts on my stomach. Haven't been getting normal baby movement today normally very active but I even tried drinking a whole glass of cold move and then half a bottle of cold water and just barely a few movements that were hardly noticeable. I thought maybe the shots that hurt she child be putting a lot of pressure there. But im not just not sure the lack of movement has new concerned. Any thoughts or advice would be very greatly appreciated! :-)

You should call your doctor to be sure nothing is wrong. I kinda had the same thing happen to me around 28weeks so I called my nurse. my nurse reassured me the baby is getting bigger with less room to move around. Also told me to start checking for 10 fetal movements within 1-2 hours a day. Pick a certain time of day your baby moves alot and count. My baby moves alot in the evening time and before bed so thats when I do my counts. Hopefully everything is ok but definitely call your doctor if you need reassurance.

Also you may be experiencing Braxton hicks also. Thats the only time my belly gets super hard. It's not painful but just annoying

Problem is my ob office no longer dyes after hours :-( have no way vof contacting her or anyone after 430 pm. I do kick counts normally twice a day she's Isaiah crazy when im waging up on the morning but not today. And around this time in the eveNing but I feel movement off and on all day but very very little today. Then at night around 9-12 she's super Crazy so Idk if I should wait and see if she's her usual self tonight. Also good thought v with v the braxton hicks but this is constant pain that never stops all day now. And had issues with it last night as well. I was actually on l&d 3 weeks ago for some quit painful braxton hicks and discharged with preterm labor symptoms but just as braxton cervix was very high and closed like it should be. This is different. Im most concerned about the pain and serious lack of her usual movements :-(

Interesting. I thought all doctor's had a emergency on call line? You can either way it out til Monday or go to the E.R. if you're really in pain and concerned. Are you on 2week appts yet?

Try drinking something like juice. It's the sugar in the beverage or food that mashes the baby move not the temp.  Cold doesn't do anything- it's not like the baby is getting anything cold. But at this point you should just call Labor and delivery esp if they have already said you have symptoms of pre term labor previously.  Don't wait.

No not two week appt yet that starts after next appt for me. Most offices do butv they recently did away with their after hrs for pts bc all they end up.doing is sending you to l&d to be monitored anyways. There is always a doctor on call just not that a pt can physically contact. Good news is I texted my regular physician who also was my doctor  through my first pregnancy and we've figured a, few things out! ;-) and I'm finally getting great movement she must've been sleeping I guess lol my bad over reacted I guess. Thx ladies! :-)

I had tried the juice hun but thx. Eating even though I wasnt hungry did the trick. Unfortunately in my area bc I stricter hippa, laws we can no longer call l&d. You basically just go if you feel its necessary. It want actually pre term labor it was painful braxton hicks. But due to those symptoms pre term labor on the discharge paper was what the symptoms were under. I was gazing real contractions or dilating or anything :-)

Theanna my reg physician who also practices ob for over 10 years decided with what I told her on.phone that the couple painful hard spots are most likely baby parts and it hurts bc she's putting a lot pressure there. I was extra wortied just nc she hasn't been moving normally today but since I ate dinner she is back to get usual crazy busy self :-) I hope you too soon feel better :-)
