Sad news

My mom passed away yesterday after being sick for many years. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and so sad my mom won't be here during my pregnancy or to see her grand baby. She was my best friend and I miss her so very much. I wasn't sure if anyone else has been through a loss while pregnant. I'm a ftm and worried this might affect the baby. I want to be careful. this has all been so hard.

I am really sorry for your loss.My bro passed away 15.6.2013. Next month it will be one year without him..im 17 weeks pregnant and i know how it feels not having the beloved person next to u.But we ought to them by honouring their memory to be strong.i believe they are taking care of us even if we feel pain .So be strong for her ;)

I lost my Gma when. I was 9wks and my mom just went threw a emergency quadruple bypass a month ago so stressful and scary!  Sorry for ur loss and I know it's hard but time does heal and I'm sure ur mom taught u many things u can pass to ur little one! Now I'm almost 21 wks and I don't know how I've gotten threw all these weeks and only breaking down 2 times! I think I'm waiting till my baby girl is out of me to do so! Good luck ma and I'm sure ur mom will be with u along the way! She's probably sad that ur so sad cause I know it bothers me to see my daughter sad! Keep ur head up and know that one day some little person will call u mamma! And the circle continues!

My mom is very sick too and I pray she makes it for the birth of my baby. I feel the reason I got pregnant is so I would be able to be strong when my mother passes.

I am so sorry hun. I lost my mom almost 7 years ago. She always wanted to be a grandma but I was having difficulty conceiving. I'm now a ftm and am so sad she isn't here. The only mother figure I have is my mother-in-law. She's great but it's not the same. All I know is my mom is watching over me and my daughter. I'm sure your mom is doing the same. I can't even imagine how hard this must be for you to be pregnant and lose her. It will take time but it will get easier. Lean on people around you. Let it out, but be try to stay calm for your baby. My thoughts are with you. I'm so sorry. Hang in there mama.

I am so sorry for your loss. I couldnt imagine. I hope your other loved ones are there to help you through this and support you. Stay strong, and know that you will be a loving mom to your baby just as yours was to you, and try your hardest to stay positive that your mom lives on through you and you can teach your baby all about her.
You should make your Dr aware, so she knows you  are under a lot of stress. Again I am so sorry. Hugs.
