Scared of another missed miscarriage

Last time I was pregnant, I went in at 11.5 weeks to learn we had a missed miscarriage. The embryo had stopped growing around 8 weeks, no heart beat. Looking back the only sign was not feeling really crappy and constant burping had subsided. I still had swollen breasts, but not super tender.  Now, at 9.5+ weeks, I'm worried it's happening again, as my symptoms have decreased.  My Dr. is not worried, since we saw a heart beat at 7 weeks, but I'm still worried. In the last 4-5 days, my breasts aren't as tender, I'm not dead beat tired or sick, and I'm having regular BMs.  What do you think?

Update!  My doctor was able to squeeze me in, since I was having some light cramping.  Turns out everything is good, and the cramping was just my uterus stretching.  Thanks again all!

Thank you ladies!  Your comments are helping me feel better.  It's funny how I despised the pregnancy symptoms, until they started decreasing.  I guess it was comforting to feel bad, because it confirmed the pregnancy.

I went in around 7-8 weeks with both. My hcg levels were fine, but nothing showed on the ultrasound. They said it may be too early . then within a week both times I started bleeding and miscarried. That was in 08 and 09 and we've been trying the last 5 years to get pregnant. It finally happened in February this year and I was so scared but my pregnancy had been great and my baby boy is healthy. All you can do is take care of you and your body and pray everything works out

I saw the heart beat with mine at 8 weeks, then again at 10weeks because i switched insurance and wanted to go in to meet my new OB. At ten weeks we got to hear the heart beat too. At 13 weeks we had the NT ultrasound, that one is really cool!

I did start feeling better around 11 weeks, had a bit more energy and could walk without as much breast pain. Now at 14 weeks, they really don't hurt anymore.

Missed miscarriages are rare, changes of it happening twice to the same person are the same as developing two forms of unrelated cancer.

Also had 2 miscarriages and currently 6weeks 1 day pregnant. My last miscarriage was last august. Heard a strong heartbeat at 6 weeks 1 day last time at 132bpm... And at 12 weeks they said the baby didn't make it past 7weeks. Baby ended as a miscarriage had a D&C baby had two sperms in the egg. It's possible to have a heartbeat and still miscarriage. My first miscarriage never heard a heartbeat. Have faith. Symptoms do come and go... Take it easy don't stress and listen to your body. If you're tired rest!!!  Best of luck and keep positive thoughts!

We had not seen the heart beat in the first pregnancy.  Our first visit was at 11.5 weeks.  I've heard that seeing the heart beat decreases the chances of miscarriage, but I'm not sure how that is true. I mean, if I went in a 7 weeks last time, I wonder what we would have seen.  Octoberpumpkin, in your previous pregnancies what happened at your visits?

After you see s heartbeat it drastically reduces your chances of a miscarriage. I saw my baby boys heartbeat at 8 weeks. My other 2 pregnancies I never saw/heard anything and they both ended in miscarriages. We don't know why it happens but it doesn't mean things can't go right this time!

Try not to worry. I had 2 previous miscarriages and I am pregnant for a third time now. I was also worried because my boobs stopped hurting around 8 weeks and I never had any strong symptoms. However now I am 22 weeks :) just try to relax, drink water, take your vitamins and I'll pray for your sweet baby

In your first one, had you seen the heartbeat prior to learning about that terrible loss?
