Ultrasound Accuracy

I know not to expect the ultrasound to be completely accurate when I comes to determining baby weight, but how close has it come for other moms when their babies are born?

I know, right!  But she still had him vaginally after being induced at 41w with only a little assistance at the very end from a vacuum. Everybody was great afterwards.  :-)  Maybe she just had a terrible ultrasound tech.....  I'm currently a week ahead at 32.5w, so we'll see what happens with me too!  I've only gained half the weight my sister did, so maybe that will help.

My co-worker was told her son measured at 8 lbs before he was born. It turned out he weighed 10 lbs. My baby measured at 7lbs 4oz earlier this week.. I sure hope she's not 10 lbs when she's ready to be born. 37wks today

Oh god I don't wanna hear that eesscott I've been measuring big my ultrasound at 37 weeks was 7.6lbs which isn't huge but it was 2 weeks ahead of what it should be they said he would gain 1/2 lb a week and I had three more weeks at the time so they said he might be 9 lbs....but 2 different drs have pushed on my stomach and felt the baby and said he doesn't feel that big so I'm hoping it was wrong and he's smaller. I heard it can be a pound off in either direction.
