Security scanners at airport

Hi there I'm going to Amsterdam in a couple of weeks and il be 25+5 weeks. We are flying from Manchester and I'm just a little concerned about the security scanners . Has anyone got an experience or info on this? Thanks x

Hi I work in the security at the airport ..its perfectly grand to go thru metal detector..but if u want u can tell them u r pregnant n don't want to walk thru then they will hand search u..but its absolutely safe dear

I did it and no issue but that was almost 3yrs ago. I read after that it was a bad move but my little one was fine. If I were traveling now I would just let them search me and not scan.
