Silly Question :)

This is my second pregnancy, and I see others posting about baby having hiccups and braxton hicks our just plain stomach aches. How are you able to tell if the baby has hiccups? And braxton hicks, how can you separate a stomach ache from a BH contraction?  I'm 27 weeks and I do get stomach pains frequently fire a few seconds at a time but I really don't pay attention if they are BH or just a plain old stomach ache.  This pregnancy is just completely different from my first. With my first I didn't even know I was in labor till I went to the hospital to get induced lol. Ladies please fill me in with what you know :)

I can't determine if what I feel are Braxton hicks, but I feel like my baby pushes down on my bladder and gets really tight in my lower belly but kinda to the point where I have to start walking slow if it happens while I'm walking. But after a few seconds it eases up. So I'm assuming that is BH I'm experiencing.

I was describing the braxton hicks feeling to my dr today and for me it feels like baby went from laying horozontally ( side to side) to him lating front to back meaning hes still horozontal but his head is in my front and his feet are in my back ( hes not actually laying this way) its just all of a sudden everything gets tight and feelings very smooshed and squished like hes trying to push his way out, then the feeling eases itself out without my son moving at all.. she told me that was the braxton hicks I was feeling. And I agree hiccups are a rythmic heart beat feeling!

Braxton Hicks you can sometimes feel from the outside, if you can feel your uterus from the outside, then gently push on it when you feel you're having a Braxton Hicks contraction and you will know that it is definitely harder all over during a contraction

Can the BH feel like the baby is pushing on your bladder? Because that feeling happens alot and my lower stomach gets really hard when that happens. The hiccups I think happen when I'm feeling spasm like moves? Thirds pregnancy is completely different from my last I feel like I feel everything with this one I'm also afraid labor is going to be very painful this time around.

I second that ^^^
Lol my braxton hicks don't hurt, but i can surely feel them because my whole stomach gets rock hard for about a minute.

Braxton Hicks probably won't hurt, they just feel like tightness or pressure and feels like your whole stomach area from pubic bone right up to ribs goes hard for around 30 seconds or even up to 2 minutes (that's how mine are anyway, others might be different).
Baby hiccups just feel like a constant twitch or even like a very slow, strong heartbeat, definitely no pain.
Stomach aches are usually specific to a certain area and hurt! However sometimes stomach pains set off a Braxton Hicks for me, in which case it feels like the BHs is painful when the pain is actually caused by something different.
