Horrible pain in vagina area

I'm 23 weeks and I've been having horrible horrible pain in the vagina area to the point where I can't walk at all and even hurts to lay on my side. My OB said it was normal but I'm still concerned. Anyone else gone through this? Can this cause early labor?

Yea is it lightning pains? Like a stabbing in your vagina pain? I had it all throughout my second pregnancy. When you get the bad pains get on all 4s (doggy style) on your bed and sway side to side to help relieve the pain. Its super uncomfortable but its the baby on your cervix possibly the head of the baby. Also if you can get a maternity belt to hold and support baby up higher. Hope that helps!
