progesterone shots for preterm labor

Has any of you had to have these shots once a week to help prevent preterm labor? I am concerned with it making me go past 40 weeks!

I know some people who took the shot till 35 weeks and most of them went into labor around 38 weeks but everybody is different so u never know. When u stop the shot just make sure your walking or whatever u can to make sure the baby comes out.

Ok, I had my first son at 34 weeks, I had high blood pressure and he stopped growing. So they decided to take him. I went into labor the night I turned 36 weeks with my second son. So they are thinking that because I've had early deliveries I may go into labor early. I'm terrified of going past my due date. I'm 4'9 and it's so uncomfortable for me. I have no where for this baby to go! Lol!

I started the shots at 16weeks I'm 19weeks 4days I haven't had any complications just sore at injection shot which I can deal with that but it's all worth it as long as little one stays in the dr said I have to get them until 35weeks.
