Is spotting normal?

I am 8 weeks pregnant today and haven't yet seen the dr. Last year i had a miscarraige at about 6 weeks. I have had random light cramping on and off, not every day, since.I found out. I have had tiny tinges of pink in my vagina a few times, but when i went to the bathroom a little while ago there was pink/red blood, not a lot, but enough. Kind of like when you.very.first start or end your period. Is it normal for spotting.and cramping to.happen in the first trimester? I'm worried this is.another miscarraige. I don't.have a.car.and already owe 2 grand from my emergency room visit last year, and of course the dr isn't open now or on a Sunday. Any insight would be wonderful!

I dealt with spotting and blood throughout my first trimester due to having a negative blood type and the baby having a positive blood type. Additionally pockets of blood can for and slowly leak out. The spotting is quite normal and unless it increases to the level you saw before when you miscarried, I wouldn't freak out.

I had brown spotting around then but my doc told me if it was red or pink to go to the ER but I've seen a lot of people on here say they have had that and been fine. So I really dont know I was told that any bleeding during pregnancy was bad even though fairly normal.
