Oh ya, doesn't get any better sorry to say. With my first, I slept in a recliner for the last 3 months! It really does help! Good luck!
Yep this describes me too. I've been stuffing two pillows into one slip n sleeping with them between my legs, having them run from groin to ankle for support. Plus I have another pillow behind my back or else I sleep on my back. Also I read that if u have a particularly busy day your hips n ankles are the first to suffer. Take frequent breaks and sit/stand with proper pelvic posture (sit in your hips not slouched on tailbone). All this helps me :)
:( I don't have a recliner... But I have a couch? I finally napped on the couch this morning for about 45 minutes or so. My body pillow usually works but last night it failed me.
I've moved permanently to my couch. I sleep the best there. It's softer for my hips.
I had this problem when we stayed at my husband's grandparents house. The bed was super uncomfortable. It went away when I went back home to my own bed. Maybe you need a new mattress? Or add some memory foam?
We have a guest bed... I haven't actually tried sleeping in that one yet. Maybe I'll try... If not I guess the couch and I will be best friends. Lol thanks for the advice ladies.
they are kind of expensive but my husband got me a pregnancy pillow for Christmas and I have been sleeping so much better
I can totally relate! I have hip problems without being pregnant, including a bone spur on my right hip.....so needless to say, sleeping at the end (or even) of pregnancy is a bit rough. I'm 36 1/2 weeks and a pillow between the legs definitely helps, but I still have to rotate several times at night after waking from extremely sore hips.
I have been having this problem for a couple months now, currently 28 weeks. My fiancée recently rubbed my hips one night before we went to sleep. The pain was so bad I was almost in tears the whole time but that night I slept better than I have in a long time. A friend of mine also went for a prenatal massage last week and they did her hips and she said it helped emmensely too. Its definitely worth the pain!
