Splitting in two

Idk what's going on but the pain I am in I have never experienced before. Not even with my daughter.  It is so bad I want to cry...this coming from someone that has a very high pain tolerance. The pain in mostly in my pubic and tail bone but involves my hips lower back and groin area. Walking is the worst of all. I have a desk job and I dread having to get up for anything. Trying to stand up or sit back down hurts like hell too. If I sit too long the pain in my hips and pubic bone become unbearable but if I want the pain in my pubic and tail hit me so hard it almost brings me to my knees. I have had some problems with sciatica too. Is this b/c I am carrying so low? Has anyone experienced this? How do I get it to go away. I am sure it is nothing with the baby...no cramping or bleeding amd the baby is moving and kicking fine. Oh...btw..I am 22 weeks if that helps.

Oh thank u so much ladies. I know all of u thought that same way...well dang...I have to deal with this until baby arrives but at least I know what it is. Lol. I wish I could take some time off and rest but unfortunately that is impossible for me. I have to work..we couldnt make it with just my hubbys income and I also have an 8 year old. Luckily she helps Momma out a lot at home. :-) Looks like I am just going to have to take it a little easier and stop trying to be superwoman/mom/wife. Oh...and invest in a support belt and call my chiro. Thank u all so much. Ur the best. Good luck on ur end as well

I also have pain over my hips and pubic bone and across my lower back - docs and midwife said its spd. A hormone that is released during pregnancy softens the cartilage over the joints so end up with bone rubbing on bone. I've had it since 24 weeks. Look on then Internet for tips to ease it. It's also called pgd. (Well, over here in uk it is! ) good luck.

I have had this also with last and current pregnancy to the point where i'm bed ridden and am not able to walk, , my dr sent me for physio and i was given a support belt and painkillers for relief, they do help but nothing cures this pain other than giving birth unfortunatley, it's called SPD ( symphisis pubis dysfunction) look it up and get some advice on how to cope with it , hope this helps x

I had this exact problem with my last daughter. I never knew such a horrible pain until I had that. I was also carrying low and it got really bad toward the end when she was descending down even more. Felt like I was being ripped apart. I found the more I worked and walked around the worse it got. I tried to take it easy and more relaxing helped. I had to lay as much as possible. The second my daughter was born the pain went away! It was like a switch was turned off. Hope this doesn't last for you. Good luck!

I had this with this pregnancy. I sit a lot at my job and it would cause extreme pain in pelvis. The dr told me that it was up to me to find away to relieve it cause it can happen in pregnancy if u carrying low and the baby was already in head down position.  My son has been in head down position since about 18weeks and has not moved up any so I decieded to go ahead and quit my job and stay home so I can move around more or lay down if I need. So far this has been working very well and have been in a lot less pain. I don't know if this is a option for u but has worked for me and I get to spend more time with my 14 mo old and 4 yr old. By the way I 24 weeks prego now.

I had it with my last, a chiropractor can help ease the pain. Sometimes a nerve can get pinched from the bones separating. The chiropractor saved me big time I could walk or do anything
