Spotting is very normal in early pregnancy. I am almost 14 weeks and just last weekend I was bleeding bright red blood and one clot and the doctor told me in some cases it's normal. Unless your blood is dark red and you are clotting heavily, don't worry about it.

That sounds normal, Spotting is normal early in pregnancy, as long as its not fresh red bleeding.

There are a lot of reasons for the difference in dates. The spotting could be perfectly normal irritation and implantation. Especially since it's brown. Brown means old. So long as the spotting stands alone and you have no other symptoms then I wouldn't worry.
