Spray tans during pregnancy

Hi girls, I'm 35 wks+1 day. This is baby no 7. I really want ro have some nice pictures when the baby is born and I was considering getting a light spray tan for a bit of colour. Instead of the usual pale and exhausted look after birth ha,ha. Just wondered if its safe? Or would it be best to apply some fake tan myself? Thanks girls :)

In the UK we are told no spray tan whatsoever during pregnancy. It is still such a new thing that there have been no studies into its safety during pregnancy. Remember, what you breathe in, baby also breathes. Their lungs are so under-developed you have no idea what damage could be caused. Lotion tans are perfectly safe as long as there is no harsh smell. Be in a well ventilated are just in case.

Hi
yes as far as im aware its safe to have a spray tan. I would recommend using an organic tan, free from any harsh chemicals, parabens, perfum etc..that way u wouldnt be inhaling anything bad that could harm u or your baby. (Ive had lots of organic spray tans during my pregnancys and everything is ok)
Best of luck with your pregnancy your nearly there :)
