Thanks mommas! I'm not really disappointed but it definitely adds another layer of mystery haha! We have a girl already and my hubby is hoping for a boy (I'm hoping for a girl). we will be thrilled either way. But I saw the look on my hubby's face when she said "him" (absolutely thrilled) and I think it would be incredibly cruel to "throw us off track" by referring to the opposite gender especially since the tech knew we have a girl already. I think 17 weeks the gender would be pretty accurate at that point. It's exciting to me to be going in to the birth this time around with some more mystery than I had with my daughter. We had a great birth but it's really neat not to know 100% this time. :)
I would of asked so you wernt guessing :\ I know its a bummer to find out when your not wanting to. I had an ultrasound at 17 weeks and specifically told told the office ladies and nurse not to tell me gender if it was noticeable, they never passes that info on to the tech!!! The only reason why I didn't want to know is because my husband wasn't at the appointment with me. The anticipation is killing me for my anatomy scan in one week. I'm wondering how accurate it is at 17 weeks and if in fact I'm having what she told me?? Maybe your tech did it on purpose so you would wonder later like your doing. I'd be aggervated though if I was you
Or maybe shes tryna throw you off by "accidently" saying he. Could be a girl you never know. Either way congrats on your prescious angel♥
