Mine moves after every drink and after every snack/meal. I know he's sleeping when it's rolls or movements, and I know when he's awake when it's pokes and jabs lol

Okay thanks.. So basically different doctors have different recommendations. So I will wait til he say something. But honestly my baby moves alot now. So if I don't feel my baby move in 2 days I would go to er. Soon as I lay down or I'm relaxing he is tossing and turning. Feels like flipping or something but as of now it's daily. A few times a day.

My dr never advised me with my first, he said I would notice a decrease in movement, my baby was incredibly active all the time and still is as a toddler. This baby is the complete opposite so from 24wks dr said count 10 movements a day.

I'm 34 weeks and have never kept track nor have I been asked to. My baby is very active. I think that counting kicks is for less active babies so that the doctor can have something to go off of to make sure baby is ok. Mine is constantly moving, even kicked the doctor lol. So no worries here

It's a great idea to pay attention to your baby's movements but at 19 weeks those movements can be quite unpredictable!! After 28 weeks baby's tend to have reached a more reliable and trustworthy routine. So therefore starting a "kick count" is a good idea.
