Still Cannot See Sex of Baby

Second attempt to see the sex of the baby and this time my cutie was balled up sleeping on my placenta. Why won't my child give up the goods?! I want to know already lol. Trying again in two weeks because it's also needed for the anatomy test results. Anyone else have a hard time finding out the sex of their baby?

I'm 19 weeks. They tried last week because they were checking my cervix and asked since they were already scanning me if I wanted to know the sex? Baby would not cooperate. Yesterday I was scanned because it was a normal check up to go over cervical scan results (all was normal) and little person won't stay still for the doppler to the heartbeat lol. So again since they were scanning for the heart they tried to find the sex and baby went to sleep. I will make sure I drink something with sugar before the anatomy scan in two weeks.

Definitely drink soda. My little man would always sleep during all of my appointments. One day I had a soda right before my Dr visit and BOOM, he was wide awake that day lol... by the way I'm not even a soda drinker. My hubby suggested it to me and it worked!

It took 3 scans for us to confirm that we indeed were having a lil girl. She kept her legs crossed or mooned us most of the time. Even when she was active she refused to open her legs. I was told girls are harder to find. I suppose we ladies are well mannered right from the start. ;)

You're probably having a girl! My daughter kept her legs crossed for 3 appointments! Little ****. My ultrasound technician told me 9 times out of 10 when the baby does that it's a girl. Try having a little frozen yogurt or something sugary and cold on your way to the next ultrasound. That helped for my 4th attempt for my daughter.

When I found out I was 22 weeks.  She was sitting transverse and with her back towards us so we couldn't see anything. Plus she refused to move lol.  We spent over a hour and half trying to get measurements and to see her goods. I did little wiggle, jumps,  drank Apple juice,  and finally for a brief 15second we saw.  Still ended up going back when I was 27 weeks to finish up measurements. Good luck on finding out !=)

Try drinking  sugary drink half an hour before the ultrasound. It might get them bouncing around.
