Still Thankful

Hi everyone. This is my 4th pregnancy.  I'm 6 weeks and experience severe nausea, fatigue, & chills. Is the chills normal? Also, does zofran really help with nausea?  Never tried it. I need relief. I am a stay at home Mom with 3 other babies.

I had chills around that time, they went away at around 10 weeks

It helped me a lot. I still vomited several times a day and was nauseated but I could at least function to care for my 3 & 1 year old plus go to work. ( I bring my kids to work with me). Constipation is a side effect but a lot of people suffer with that regardless in pregnancy. I just upped my water and fiber when I could keep it down. Good luck.

I am 12 weeks and was on Zofran for about two weeks. I hated it. Worked for maybe 2-3 hours not the 8 they say and made me constipated. Stopped taking it and just waited for the nausea/vomiting to wear itself out. Maybe it'll work for you though.

Congrats to you!  & thanks.  I'm going to try those. I tried sacking on a regular peppermint but it didn't help much.

It works but a side affect is constipation! I found that out the hard way. I chose to be able to poop and just deal with the nausea. Ginger ale helps and I did mints also

Congrats..I'm 27 weeks with my first also. I never tried zolfran but I heard it works. I ate peppermint altoids all day to help ease the nausea. I did experience chills and the cold sweats in the very beginning of my pregnancy and I'm always tired no energy what so ever. Good luck hun
