I breastfed for my first two kids for a full year, with no formula at all.  It was a pain pumping at work, but I'm glad I stuck with it.  Hoping I can do the same for this baby.  I'm getting minor leakage already, which I guess is a good sign.

Wow congratulations! I hope I get mine that early. I'm 32wks 5d with my 3rd child and I never get mine until hours after I deliver.

I loved the closeness that breastfeeding gave my daughter and I. I made one rookie mistake...initially I wasn't saving the excess colostrum didnt realize what a great immune booster it was thought it was too watery...This time I am ready...oh and getting a hospital grade pump as I have to return to work. Last time pump was crappy and dried up too soon. Anywhoo best of luck! Great decision enjoy!!!

I'm planning on breastfeeding, and my midwife is a lactation expert, so she's going to make sure I can do it successfully. There are so many benefits from it that I think if a person has the option to do it, they definitely should!

I am a ftm as well and I plan on bf. I am 32+6 and have been leaking colostrum for as long as I can remember being pregnant. It kinda freaked me out at first but my Dr said it was ok and you will make plenty for baby and that it was a good sign that I would be able to bf when little man gets here. Good luck mommas.
