Strep B UTI?

Hi ladies! Just wondering if any of you have had a urinary tract infection positive for Strep B? My midwife called today and started me on an antibiotic and said I would have to be treated again when I was in labor bec of risks to the baby. Have any of you had this And experienced any complications? I'm a nervous wreck.

Ive had it with all three pregnancies and tjis one im not sure as yet and all babies were fine and healthy

This is myfirst pregnancy and I tested positive for strep b as well they gabe me antibiotics they will test you periodically but when its time to delivery youll get antibiotics when you deliver to.. good luck

I was positive with my first . They put antibotics iv when u arrive  At hospital,  but make sure u tell your nurse at check in!!  My daughter was born healthy and full term.  No complications or health issues.  She's 3yrs old and full of energy

My friend has tested positive with all four of her pregnancies and gets the antibiotic during pregnancy and during labor, all of her kids are healthy and great. She is on pregnancy #5 now.
