I'm not ready!

Just left doc, had last growth scan today. Baby weighed in at 8lbs and in the 90th percentile. Was told today that they would not allow me to go past 39 weeks. I'm disappointed and wanted to see what my body would do on its own! Keeping my fingers crossed that maybe I'll go into labor on my own. I thought I was so ready now the closer it gets I realize I'm not.

if their going to induce you anyway id start doing all those things that could kick start labour without the drugs. walking, sex, see an acupuncturist that can stimulate certain points to induce labour. and sex as often as you can regardless if it works might be beneficial since the semen will rippen your cervix so even if your medically induced it might help speed things up once you get going. good luck!
