Super Tight Belly When Walking

I'm 38weeks tomorrow and when walking in the grocery store today found my belly was getting super uncomfortably tight. I thought braxton hicks at first but it didn't come and go like normal. It just continued to get really tight and I'd get a shooting pain every so often through my vag. Once we finally got to the car and I could sit it seemed to go away...what the heck...first timer here and I'm a bit freaked out. Is it just pressure from standing too much or what?

The same thing happens to me, I'm 38 wks and 1 day and they are very uncomfortable. Sometimes I just have to sit somewhere in the store because of that sharp pains in my vagina. As far as the belly getting tight those are more than likely Braxton hicks, I get those too a lot.

Contractions. Be careful so close to date could be the real thing

Thanks...it just feels like the tightness lasts for a long time. But it does go away when I sit.

The tightening is contractions.  If they go away after rest it's just Braxton hicks. They will probably happen more often the closer you get to baby time :)
