Baby dropping down at 34 weeks ?

34 +5 weeks, I'm sitting at work today and feel my son almost crawling/scraping/kicking around, and suddenly a lot of movement much lower down than I usually feel, like he was literally moving down. It wasnt what I would call a drop, but i was shocked to feel anything that low! It was where you would feel menstrual cramps. My placenta is in the front , so when I do feel him its usually around my bellybutton. Could he just have dropped?

I feel like we are on the same page. My boy has been head down for weeks now, I think he is just settling in but hasn't dropped per se. The feeling of him being that low seemingly out of nowhere was freaky. I feel a little tender and more pressure but not the bowli g ball feeling a lot of people suggest. Ah, to be a FTM. Hahaha

I've heard your tummy looks a lot different when they drop. I'm 36 weeks and my son is head down. His head hasn't dropped but when I feel him roll I could feel his head in my lady area! Lol even his hiccups are felt best down there! I thought he had dropped but my doctor said not yet!
