Taking Tylenol

So yesterday I couldn't handle the pain my ribs were giving me and took two Tylenol extra strength. I must have taken it 3 times in my entire pregnancy but today an article posted here on the app scared me! It said it can cause serious complications during birth.. Oh my! What should I do? I'm 38 weeks.

It's ok to use it. I've seen an early (not conclusive) study that suggested higher rates of ADHD for children of mums that used it in pregnancy but there could be so many other factors that caused the correlation. It's enough to make me hesitant to use it for small things, but I'd still use it for bad pain.

Only took it 2x but they never helped the pain go away. My doctor said it was OK to take tylenol but I think you shouldnt take anything unless your dying of pain. Back pain  go to a chiropractor for that and adjustment.  Did would ders for me and with Obama care most plans cover 25 dchiropractor visits or whatever you chose as your coverage let's say 80%. I wouldn't get throught this pregnancy if it wasn't for the chiropractor.

Don't fret!!! You' and the baby will be fine. I'm also 38 weeks (yay us!) and have been taking Tylenol to help with my current back pains. So long as we don't go over the recommended amount of doses per day, we're fine. It does absolutely nothing to our tiny human. :D

Don't worry!  Tylenol is fine to take and won't hurt your baby.  Sometimes the articles you read online cover such extreme, out of the ordinary examples... I wish they just wouldn't post them.

My dr and pharmacist both told me tylenol regular or extra strength was fine. My headaches were absolutley unbearable to the point of bordering on migraines a couple times so I had to take them with coffee because my usual migraine meds are not allowed!
