Oh my gosh I just brought this up at my doctor on Wednesday! I'm 38 weeks today and I had and still have that feeling! It is baby pushing his head down further into you vagina! It's actually a great thing but it is miserable! I still have it a few times a day especially after my walks! My doctor said it's torture but a great sign baby is getting ready! Hope this helps! You may also notice losing more and more discharge and or mucus as well! Good luck!

Hmm, never had that happen. Was there any spots of blood like an actual tear? Or did it just feel like it tore? You could try soaking in a bath. See if that helps relieve some of the pressure down there. I know my skin feels super tight too, like it will rip if I spread too far lol. While most women are having sex to get the baby out. I'm like keep that thing away from me!!

Was it up high? I've had a couple of sensations that were like a sharp stab that's just been from baby being in a weird position and kicking the back of my vaginal wall or cervix. Once I jiggle him round and he moves it feels better. Otherwise I'm not sure what it could be...
