Tearing

Labor and delivery is getting very close and I'm getting absolutely terrified of tearing. I get a small tear in the spot between the vagina and rectum just from having sex with my husband. Every single time. It seems like I would be the perfect person to have a third or forth degree tear from vaginal delivery. Doctors still want me to do vaginal birth though. What are all your thoughts? Even if I tear that badly, is it still better than doing a c section and why? I'm so scared

I was cut with my first and tore with my second because they weren't ready. Tucks Pads were my best friend for about 4-5 days after! You just fold them in half and place them between stitches and your pad. I would think it would be better to tear than a csec, less of an area affected and just a few stitches vs more with csec. Csecs also take longer to recover than vaginal.

I had my son in Mag, I teared a little. It isn't that bad, the stitches dissolve on its own. It will sting a little when you pee, but warm water in a squeeze bottle helps. Don't be scared. Lol its all over in a second.

I don't think I can do that, I can barely reach myself around my giant baby belly nor can I feel anything from the knuckles of my hands to my finger tips.. Really bad carpal tunnel from pregnancy. Maybe I could ask my husband to, poor guy lol.

Good news is the dr will cut you down there before it tears. However, if your baby is too big,  they will do a csection. I heard vag better bc you heal.faster, especially if breastfeeding!csection major surgery and scar and painful.afterwards and you're on bed rest
