Texas Medicaid?

Do they cover midwives or water births? ???:(

I will.: ) I was just wondering like if Medicaid is the one that restrains it or if it's just the facilities choice if they accept Medicaid. :o

It could be either...call the facility and ask them...I'm sure they get that question all the time.

Okay I meant like if there option is just an option for non insurance or it could be Medicaid too since they accept Medicaid .. I don't think I made sense

I know there's a facility that accepts Medicaid and they have water birth as an,option... but I'm nor sure if the water birth is an,option for Medicaid or if it is because they accept it.

Best thing to do is ask your local midwives if they take Medicaid. A midwife is a lot less expensive than a Dr if you pay cash without insurance too.
