After taking Mylanta what else can I use to relieve this heart burn? I can't sleep and that's getting old real fast. I feel like I'm breathing fire. :-(

Talk to your Dr. My Dr perscribed some pills for me to take 2 times a day and It solved the problem. I had heart burn real bad. I think they are called Randatine? Something like that.

Depends on if your heartburn is because you have too much or too little acid. Try drinking A glass of cold water with fresh lemon squeezed in. If that helps, try more every 1-2 hrs. If not, you may need a stronger remedy.

My doctor had me take zegerid and it was a dream...until it worked too well and I was drinking the lemon water to get some acid back. Hope this helps :)

I use zantac 2x per day and liquid rolaids... it helps most days as long as i stay on it. Although i am miserable this morning. Lol just do your research and try others till you find something that works for you. Most antacids/reducers are fine for you and baby.

I only get it once in a while right now thank goodness, but a friend of mine got it everyday so bad it would make her eyes water several times a day and she swore by tums. It was the only thing that worked for her. It works for me too!
