Third baby

Hi, my name is Brandy, I'm 28 years old and I'm an RN, married and mother of two beautiful children, my oldest who is a girl just turned 9 on Jan 11th,and my son is 5 years old, so I have my pair!! I just found out I'm pregnant, about 5-6 weeks, and I'm struggling with my emotions. I've always said that I wanted a big family, but now that I'm actually pregnant I feel as if I'm going to lose a lot of freedom having a third child. I know it sounds selfish but it's a real fear and I'm  trying to shake it.  I haven't told anyone except for a close cousin about the pregnancy and I'm just not ready to tell my husband yet, our relationship has been shaky, we were separated for 3 years ,but it's been two years since that separation. In  total we've been together 7 years, I haven't told him but anyone else because I'm not ready to hear comments from anyone, I'm just trying to swallow my own feelings first. Im pretty sure my husband will be excited, but I'm  just not ready.  Any advice?

I think to some level everyone thinks about losing some freedom or struggling with the balance of a child or multiple children so don't feel bad about it! Just remember how much of a blessing or privilege it is to be a mom since not all get that chance :) Good luck with everything!!

I have 3 toddlers.. one 3 year old.. and 2 20 month olds.. I do have my days where I refuse to leave the house but it is few and far between. I never lost any freedom but I did gain more friends.
I'm due in June with my 4th girl. It's very unexpected but I worry too.. how can I care for 4, when I'm a full time employee and a full time mom.. I know you will do great

This baby hopefully will be easier for you than the first two. I bet your older kids will be so excited, and will be a real help to you. I was 13 when my mom had her surprise 5th child, and i just loved taking care of her. We're still very close.

I agree that I think all of us goes through this I'm not ready and worried phase! I found it happened to me more so in the beginning of my pregnancy and now I'm feeling so much more at ease! There's always a reason things happen... Congratulations!
