Very posterior cervix, labour signs?!?!

I'm now 41 weeks and went for a membrane sweep exactly one week ago and was told by my midwife that I have a "very posterior" cervix and the sweep couldn't even be performed. Having absolutley no signs of labour what so ever except I have been getting a dull ache like period pain the past few days. It's not coming in any pattern form or waves just every now and again and not painful. Has anybody been told they have a posterior cervix and how did that affect your labour? And also if these period like pains can mean labour maybe coming soon? I am so fed up now being overdue and worried about having to be induced
