Tilted uterus

Will having a tilted uterus make it harder to feel the baby move? I'm 18 weeks and I haven't felt anything yet. My bff felt hers move at 16 weeks and she's 22 now and can feel it from the outside. I've been scared from the beginning that something is gonna happen but I think it's only natural to be a little paranoid. I have an ultrasound in 2 weeks so I guess I'll find out then but what do you guys think?

It's a possibility. With a tilted uterus, it can make the baby face your back and of course make it hard to feel movement. I myself have a retroverted uterus and I'm 21wks with baby #3 and hardly feel movement. In every ultrasound baby has his/her back to us. It scares me because I think something is wrong, but, every time all is well. Try not to fret. It doesn't happen often but it does happened.

with my first pregnancy I never felt her until 21-22 weeks along. I didn't see her kick thru my skin to about 26 weeks.I had a lot of extra skin though...I lost 53 lbs before conceiving and only gained 30 back with her. My belly button never even popped out. I didn't really get stretch marks but my feet got so big my last month of pregnancy.

I have a severely tilted uterus and i haven't had any problems with feeling the baby move. With my first i didn't feel him till 23weeks and now with my second i felt her at 13weeks and by 16weeks my hubby could feel her. If this is your first it might take a little bit till you notice it.
