Maybe baby?
I had an appt today three hours ago and I had my cervix checked. It was more uncomfortable than painful. I am only 1cm dialated. However I'm 38 weeks pregnant and have been having contractions ever since I left the doctor's office. They are less than 5 mins apart. My question is has anyone went into labor after being checked? Kind of worried.
Yeah I always get contractions after getting my cervix checked lately. I've got seven days to go...but never consistent enough to be five minutes apart and they usually aren't really consistent and die out the next day.. You might really be going into labor but who knows
Did your doctor sweep your membranes??

Ty both! I've drank water but ive been sitting back on a recliner .Moving to my left now:)
Lay down on your left side and drink water. If they go away then it's just false labor
I have heard of being checked bringing the oncoming of labor but it could also just cause false labor, good luck!!
