Too early for symptoms??

I just got a positive HPT a week ago...I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second baby.  I have already been feeling sick, nauseous, and so exhausted.  I was expressing this to my husband, and he said "isn't it too soon to have symptoms". I don't know if I'm over emotional but I feel like he thinks I'm over exaggerating...which couldn't be further from the truth.  How do I make my husband who is usually very understanding, understand what I am going though?

Thank you for all of the feedback.  I think it is true that you have rose tinted glasses on for your first....it is glasses off now and I feel awful.  Couple that with being nervous about having a second baby, even though we were trying, makes this hard.  Thank you ladies!

I got hit with migraines and fatigue at six weeks. I didn't think to take a pregnancy test till it dawned on me i missed my period and then took a test at about 7 weeks and it instantly came up positive. I took 4 tests and they all reacted the same.

Nope not at all....you already have a pregnancy under your belt and the body already knows what to expect with the pregnancy....not oy that you and ready have a sense of what you should feel like for pregnancy so it's easier to determine the symptoms!

Like my doctor told me first pregnancy was with rose tinted glasses on....the happiness and joy of pregnancy masked a lot of symptoms and well diverted your attention some where else....second and more pregnancies it's glasses off and you will notice all the stuff you didn't in the first now....not only that but every pregnancy is different too!

At 6 weeks we didn't know I was pregnant yet, but I remember having a lot of breast & nipple tenderness, mild cramping, very mild nausea-even though I was constantly hungry & was tired all the time.

For me, by 6 weeks I was constantly tired, hungry, thirsty, and had randomly threw up my breakfast one morning without ever feeling neasea. I was in denial though.
