Transverse

Any one have a baby that stayed tranverse laying sideways until delivery? I am 17 weeks with a sweet baby who seems mighty comfy laying with their back to my belly. I am not worried by any means as I am a repeat c-section just curious. I have had 3 babies carry normal and also a breech. All of my U/S pics look so upside down in comparison to my others.

My 3rd was transverse at 37 weeks. Dr immediately wanted to scedule a c section but I asked to wait, so she scheduled for me to have a version (where they try and turn the bany from the outside). The day of my version I had to check into the hospital incase anything went wrong, first thing she did was an us to check his exact position and found that he had turned on his own! So glad I asked about my other options.

My second and third were transverse and never moved. I had to have an emergency section with my now 2 year old and a scheduled section with my now 10 week old. It was actually kind of nice toward the end because I could breathe and never had feet in my ribs!! Also I could feel his head perfectly so I would rub it all the time and I can still put him to sleep by rubbing his cute little melon!! <3

Interesting I did read it is more common with having had a few prior children.

This is my 5th as well. My 4th was transverse/breech until about a week before delivery. The dr kept telling me not to worry (which we all know doesn't work) that with subsequent they can flip later.
