stretch marks?

Ok Ladies I'm worried to death, I have a5 year old and I was lucky enough to not get stretch marks from her. but I'm showing a lot earlier with this pregnancy and I'm terrified that I'm going to ruin my body with this baby. any moms out there have more than one and were lucky enough to not have stretch marks? I look at it like what's the odds of lightning strike in the same place twice lol.

Had a friend who used to put conditioner on her belly and let it dry after she got out of the shower and never got a stretch mark. I tried everything but I have a ton of them and this is my first baby. I'm pretty sure its all genetic but in case I'm wrong you could always try the conditioner :)

Stretch marks are based on genetics. You will either get them or you won't. Lotions and other topical creams aren't going to help because stretch marks come from the lower levels of skin where creams and lotions don't soak into. Pray your skin will last. I know people who have 3-5 kids never got stretch marks.

I totally get that. but if they could be avoided I would like to avoid them. may think me crazy but who really wants to get them? there was no offense intended.
