What are the chances that both will make it? I catch myself thinking about this a lot. Twins come from my side so I asked the woman in my family. The ones that were expecting twins... one of them never makes it. Some say it never devolopes from the start... some do but stop after a few months and r stillborn. Am I over thinking this? Feel like I should prepare for the worse but I want to stay positive. Its hard when you think you might lose one.

I'm a triplet and my husband is a twin. We have trips n twins on both sides of our families and they all made it even when some of their parents had addictions and horrible health. You'll be fine.  Don't stress or you'll make the babies uncomfortable

My sister's are twins and perfectly fine!

Honey dont stress over it. That's the best thing. A lot of twins have died in my family whether they were stillborn, miscarriage, diedof diseases, etc. I'm a twin I got 17 yrs with my sister she died a month after our 17 bday in a car accident. Currently I am expecting twins and when I found out I cried bc I was scared of miscarriage or one surviving and not the other etc. The best advice I got was not to stress or worry bc that can harm ur pregnancy. So I quit worrying and now I'm ten weeks away from being full term and they are healthy.

I have several sets of twins in my family.  They all are healthy adulys now.  None of the women in my family had issues with one of the babies not making it.

My husband is a twin and him and his sister made it...thank God!!

Don't over think it. You'll just stress yourself out. There are LOTS of twins that both survive and are healthy,  normal babies.

My partner was a twin and his younger brother was also a twin, and neither of their twins made it. However, think positively! There are lots of twins in the world who DO make it....there are multiple births of several babies and they make it. Worrying about it will not help, and the stress can have an adverse affect on your babies. My advice is to relax, stay healthy, and cross any tough roads if you come to them, and not before.
