Underactive thyroid now 12?

Got diagnosed with an underactive thyroid 12 week ago with a level of 93 which should be 0.5 - 4.5. After unable to get pregnant for a year. My thyroid was down to 30 last month & I got pregnant but miscarried shortly after finding out. My thyroid is now down to 12 & iv been upped on medication again 100mg levothyroxine. I'm due to ovulate again any time soon. Do you think ill be ok to try again with it still being not quite right. Doctor hasn't told me to stop trying :-/ don't wanna miss out another month of trying tho.

I wouldn't worry to much anout it. I don't have a thyroid at all anymore and with all the pregnancy hormones my pill has had to be adjusted twice so far during the pregnancy, and they check my levels more frequently. Ill be 29 weeks tomorrow with a healthy lil girl :) guess what I'm saying is that even if it gets adjusted now chances are its gonna have to get readjusted once you get pregnant with all the things going on in your body.

Thank you. I have spoke to my doctor & as I said she's told me to carry on trying. But with wat happened month back or so I'm just panicking ill miscarry again. Part of me is wanting to wait till its stable & part of me is not wanting to waste any time & thinking well it's 12 now and getting lower now as we speak as i started the higher dose yesterday. also i probably have a better chance in keeping if I did fall pregnant.  And a lot of people do have normal pregnancy s and don't even find out about their thyroid till there actually pregnant & then get it treated. Just don't know thanks for all ur advice tho.

It's up to you an underactive thyroid does stop your chances of getting pregnant. Although I must stress that it is vital your thyroid is balanced when you are pregnant as it can cause a risk of miscarrage if you not supplying enough thyroid to the fetus. You can google the British thyroid association it has a bit more about it on there. I also have an underactive thyroid since I was 19 26 now I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant and it doesn't seem to be causing complications. Xx I think it's personal choice wether you keep trying x

I would talk to your doctor first before trying Agana because I had thyroid problems and had to wait a year after it was fixed to try or could cause major problems for baby most likely ending in miscarriage or still birth so I would check with thyroid doc first! Not trying to scare you but may save you dome heart ache.

I would ask the dr point blank. My concern would be that the medication is still being adjusted. The fluctuating levels could be an issue. Hope they can give yousome good news soon.
