Urine scalding from frequent urination?

I pee probably every 5 minutes sometimes more (welcome to pregnancy) I'm 35 weeks.

My question is had anyone else seem to have gotten scalded from their urin on their vagina? Is super irritated and red and sore.

I dab until fully dry (too painful to wipe anyways) after I pee and wear cotton underwear. I also have a lot of discharge so I've been using scent free panty liners.

I ended up putting sensitive Dove deodorant on it to keep the moisture off. We will see how it goes.

Anyone else have this issue or any suggestions?

Thanks ladies!  Good ideas and input,  much appreciated! I think I'll try the boxers. I Have a lot of discharge (sorry if tmi) and if I don't wear ant bottoms it gets messy :/

Definitely would try to put some relieving powder on it and sleep bottomless, no panties just a night gown or large shirt. Let your lady breathe some and see if that helps. Luck to you.

Put desitin (baby diaper rash cream) on it. Go for the purple tube as the blue burns some times. Just sounds like irritation.

I think the scalding might be from the panty liner.  I started bleeding and I had to wear a bigger pad for two days km was so uncomfortable.  I also do not have a uti or any infection.  Go to a keep in your hubby's boxers. I hate underwear but at night I wear boxers and in the morning put back a panty liner

I have no expertise on this subject but I do believe that you should contact your doctor on call or head to labor and delivery since I can only imagine how much discomfort you are experiencing.  Sounds like it could be the result of hormones or an infection so as a precaution this definitely needs some attention.

Feel better soon, congrats on baby and best wishes.
