Thoughts of getting tubes tied

I'm having my csection Monday and planning on getting my tubes tied. I'm sure I don't want anymore but with the help of google lol I'm kinda rethinking into looking into something else. I see so many people having problems with it after and it's not like you can just stop taking meds or taking it out to help fix problems that arise after its done. What are some of your thoughts on this? I think I'm talk to hubby some more about it.

We are done having kids as we have two and I have complications during pregnancy and delivery. I looked into a tubal but decided not to. Instead I got the paragard non hormonal iud.

My husband & I talked about him getting a vasectomy done instead of me getting fixed. I have friends & family who regret getting their tubes tied because the now have complications so that's why we went with this choice. But before he gets it done, we will have 1 more baby. He wants 2 more but I say 1 lol.

The hospital where I'm delivering won't do a tubal due to religious reasons, but I would definitely do it if I could.

Yea we both agreed we don't want anymore, I'm just worried about the long term affects of it, I know there's a chance with everything we do

I'm planning on getting my tubes tied after this one. I do medical billing and coding and very rarely see problems from the tubal. Plus I figure the im old enough and will be happy with my 2 boys that I won't be upset about not having anymore. Plus god forbid if something happens to me and my husband wants to get reamrried and have other kids he can

Mine volunteered to get a vasectomy after this one because he thinks there's too many complications with tubals and I have scarring issues. Probably helps that his dad and best friend have done it already too.

I'm getting my tubes tied. I figure I'm having a c section might as well go ahead.  I had complications from the marina, my body was trying to reject it.  I figure this is the easiest way for me.  Good luck.

Yea I just seen that to. What us lady's have to go through. I think I might go ahead and let my husband be the one to get fixed lol. I was gonna just get the tubes done since I was already going to be open but thinking twice about it since times getting closer.  I know a man having it done is much easier

I looked into esure after my last. But, it carries a risk of the little spring devices moving into a bad spot. Plus you have to go back and have tests done ( MRI with contrast) after 3 months to check that the tissue is growing in the springs. It can take a year (if it works at all). It scared me especially when I started researching more. Good luck finding a fit for you

I am at my dr office now i just read a brochure about Essure. Its permanent birth control it goes inl like an iud into your tubes. It's also hormone free, preformed at your drs office, says recovery is less than a day.
