I will be getting both the Tdap and the flu vaccine later on in my pregnancy. most of what you find online isn't reliable information and I believe this is the best informed decision I can make.
I got the tdap and was completely fine, just sorenfor a few days
Thank you ladies for all your input!:) i have been doing some research of my own and have decided I won't be doing the vaccine while pregnant. There's still so much I want to learn about this subject as well.
I asked this question about a week ago and since then I have done some research and I found that there isn't any proof that the vaccine actually reaches the baby while a woman is pregnant and the scientists and the doctors are assuming that the benefit outweighs the risk and do not let mother's know the risk are. There are a lot of should's and possibly's but no for certain's or even 75,80 99 percent. I have decided not to get the vaccine while pregnant.
I scrapped my leg falling down an escalator so I happened to have the tdap done one week before I conceived I refused to have another one during my pregnancy considering I had one 8 months ago the drugs are in your system for 3-5 years having another one in less than a year is overkill in my opinion
If youve ever had any adverse effects with vaccines i do not reccommend. A lot of places are recommend to give to pregnant ladies or soon after birth since theres been an outburst. I got mine around 30 weeks. :)
I also had the flu shot but im pretty sure i couldve gone without that onr. Lol
Whooping cough is so dangerous for babies and its on the rise in the U.S. I would rather prevent it then watch my baby in pain. I never get thebfpu shot because me and my husband react weird to it. I got the whooping cough vaccine at my 30wk appt

I got the whooping one done last week my mum thesame she didnt with 4 kids but for me I got them done there there for a reason but it totally up to you
I don't do vaccines like flu shots, whooping cough etc. I am almost 30,and never had one and this is my 4th baby non of my kids have had a flu shot. I think its your decression. You just need to device what you want personally for me I just don't and I won't get them for my babies eirher . We are perfectly healthy.
I got the flu shot but was told to get whooping cough once i have had him.
I received the flu shot last month & the tetanus shot today. For me personally if it'll be best for my unborn baby & myself I'm all up for it. I don't think the doctor would want you to have it unless its harmful for both you & baby.
I got mine in the hospital after i had my son.
