I'm pregnant with my fourth child
one of my babies was almost 9 pounds no episiotomy I have never had any complaints from my partner that I was too loose I've always had good vaginal muscle control Lol

And not to bash on men too much but really they could have sex with a hole in a wooden fence and think it was a good time so what kind of judges are they :)

Every physician will be able to tell you've birthed a baby (even a small like 5 - 6 lb one) but husband's aren't physicians :) yes it goes SO much back to close like normal nobody can tell. Doing Kegels helps big time!  So not exactly the same, but SO close it's very unlikely you or your partner would be able to tell :)

I know my mom said that when she was young and having children people did not talk about kegels and how to keep your vagina tight. She had 3 babies all 10 lbs naturally and she would tell you that her parts were not the same after. The muscles were stretched she would pee randomly and not even feel it and could not orgasm anymore. She was very embarrassed about these issues and felt like she was the only woman suffering and didn't seek help for years. She recently had two surgeries to fix the damages and repair tissues from her natural births 20 some years ago. She tells me she wished people had been open about the changes that can happen after birth. I just know that everyone is different and if your vagina is not the same after child birth don't be afraid to talk to your doctor because there are things they can do to help.

Yes I think most partners would say that to the woman that gave birth to their child... Do you ever wonder what the answer would be if it wasn't us asking our partner.Just wondering.

I asked because I sometimes wish I could experience vaginal birth..i have large babies so i am not able to. However, I really Dont want my girly parts to change in any way. My husband and I enjoy sex to the fullest we have been together/ married almost 13 years and I would truly hate to not feel the same or him not feel the same during intimacy. Thanks ladies just pretty much thinking out loud.

I had to be cut and get stitches after birth and to me it feels like it's tighter than pre birth when my bf and I have sex with him behind. In fact, it hurts too much to continue.

I haven't noticed anything different.. but the biggest baby ice had was 5lbs.  I think that's why I'm scared to have a bigger baby

I noticed that my inner lips got a little longer from stretching, but tightness is the same.

It goes back don't worry! Just be sure to do kegel exercises before and after birth... Women should do kegels always actually, it's the best way to keep things tight.

From what I've heard and read:
1) the vagina is designed to stretch during sex and
2) with the help of hormones during pregnancy, it stretches even more during birth
However, it always returns to its usual size after it's all said and done UNLESS there was a complication (like a vaginal tear) during birth.  But that's just some info I've gleaned online.
